The Dorchester Art Club

Dorchester Art Club is a friendly group which welcomes artists, from absolute beginners to all levels of experience. There are no critical judgements made, but assistance is freely shared if asked for. Full membership is paid annually and together with a small weekly attendance fee, covers the cost of running the club, hiring the hall and refreshments. Newcomers are also welcome to come to a “Taster” session for a small charge.

 

Please bring with you some basic art materials, such as paints, pen/pencils and paper. You can bring your own sketches/photos/materials and work in whatever way you like AND ENJOY THE COMPANY WHILE YOU PAINT AND DRAW. We are hoping to arrange demonstrations and/or talks by visiting artists, there would be a small charge to attend these.

 

The club meets for most of the year on Thursdays 2.00pm till 4.00pm. We meet in the St George’s Church Hall, Fordington. Turn in to a narrow driveway to the left of the Church Tower and bear right up the slope. There is ample free parking in front of the Hall.

If you would like to join our club, you can download, print and complete a copy of the Membership form and send it to the address shown on the form or just bring it to a Thursday afternoon session.
